"I don't know why you always come up with motivation. If I didn't have motivation I wouldn't be here answering these kinds of questions. It's fuck all to do with that. We have bad races and it's an unfortunate thing, but the aim is to improve and get where we want to be."

Put Hulk in the car and be done with it.

I heard a comment from one of the practice sessions that Kimi's not as hard on the brakes going into certain corners, so he's not charging the batteries as much as other drivers. So his inherent driving style (carrying more speed into corners) is putting him at a disadvantage.

Did they have KERS when Kimi was still driving in F1? I'm thinking of Michael's return to F1, and how it seemed that the cars and the technology had surpassed him. I wonder if another driver, one who's been in F1 continuously for the last few years, would be better with these new cars.

Kimi was 5th in points last year, even with two retires and missing the last two races completely. Batteries are much more important this year (torque fill for turbo lag).

Okay. I just had a complete brain cramp. I forgot he came over from Lotus. Derp.

Just a bummer that his driving style, which was so successful last year (8 podiums!) seems to be working against him this year. Vettel is clearly not adjusting well either.

Autosport has an article where he says its his driving style that doesn't work the front tyres hard enough which is causing his problems. Kimi is too soft on them.
